Wisconsin’s largest collection of historic carriages and wagons is yours to explore year ‘round at the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum. Weather permitting, check out snowshoes at our visitor center and experience the natural beauty of our grounds via a different form of historic transportation! Snowshoes are available with 4+ inches of snow cover. The remainder of our site buildings, including the original Wade House Inn, our sawmill, and blacksmith shop, reopen for general admission in May 2026.

Step back in time with the 1875 Hotel Style Concord Stagecoach #433 at the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum. One of only about 160 known to exist, this beautifully preserved coach is a striking addition to Wisconsin’s largest collection of historic carriages and wagons. Wade House
Wade House is a fun-filled day for family and friends to walk in the footsteps of their ancestors
Attention Teachers: We still have spaces available for our Wade House Christmas Field Trips!
The sights, sounds, and smells at the inn will transport you back to when the holidays had a stronger focus on family gatherings and time together. The halls of the Wade House Stagecoach Inn will be decked with fresh garland, greenery and a Victorian Christmas tree for the holiday season, showcasing how the Wade family and their many visitors would have celebrated Christmas. Activities include crafts, games, a holiday treat, a visit to the Blacksmith and a reading of "The Night Before Christmas."
🎄Limit 60 students per session
🎄Cost: $8/student, $15/chaperone. Teachers receive complimentary admission.
🎄Reservations are required
🎄Add a candy cane ornament hand-forged by a Wade House Blacksmith. Ornaments are $8 each and should be ordered in advance.
